Dear friends and supporters,
I hope all is well, as it can be in these terrible times.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy Spring Solstice, and may all the good things you have in mind be planted now and come to fruition soon.
We are waiting for judges’ decisions in all courts, and in the meantime we had many events, decisions, but the most important – we have added UBS AG. the mother company in Switzerland, to our case in the Bahamas.
According to the Registry General Certificate, UBS AG has been registered in the Bahamas on 22 January 2024 and its registered agent is Credit Suisse Nassau Branch, to where we went on 29 February 2024 to make service of the new claim form.
And there was something not new, the UBS Bahamas attorneys have been doing it for a long time – not accepting documents and trying to expel us from their offices, but literally unexpected, since we were in the offices of the one of the biggest institutions of the world.
After we met the first manager, who said she can not sign the certificate of service, we were invited to wait.
More than 18 minutes passed (the operation normally takes a minute or so, just for signing). The first manager returned with an aggressive woman (the one on the left in the photo). She refused to accept the documents, refused to give her last name, saying only Lakeisha, refused to say what her position in the bank was, and strongly urged us to leave the office, threatening to call the police (on what grounds?).
It’s ironic, wouldn’t you say, how the corporation of 125.000 employees, according to Google search as for today, thought to “fight” two retail traders, whom they robbed in trading fees in 2009 and for five years promised to refund, and then sold and illegal product, for which they were unable to provide the promissed service and finally rendered them homeless by an order obtained by fraud.
The 29th February 2024 scene was also a sort of caricature of how in reality the banks are treating all of us.
However this behaviour is clearly in contrast with the bank’s own terms of conduct, and much unacceptable.
On 4th March 2024 I have send the letter to the only one person named Lakeisha we were able to identify – Mrs. Lakeisha Sands, While the photo clearly shows a different person, Mrs. Lakeisha Sands appears to be the vice-president of Credit Suisse , Nassau, since January 2008.
I hoped she would investigate the employee’s behavior and get back to us. No response as for today.
This is now is another confirmation of the “excellent” corporate culture at UBS-Credit Suisse.
That being said, we still believe in the possibility of truth and justice to prevail and as always endlessly thankful to all of you for your priceless support.
Enjoy this weekend, every breath, laughter and tears—live, love, learn.
Please, as always, share our petition, help to have more signatures, and share this post.
With blessings,
Irina
