Good afternoon, dear Friends and Supporters!
Tomorrow’s a big day – our youngest son is turning 15! This is a fantastic milestone considering the ongoing legal battle that’s impacted his whole life, for circumstances beyond our control. Despite everything, he remains a cheerful and resilient young man, great reader and soccer player.
Speaking of the legal battle – we have another court date scheduled for tomorrow. Two of our applications will be heard:
- Leave to apply for judicial review in the Privy Council of 12 June 2024, challenging the decision-making process of the Court of Appeal. This process concerns the Court’s Appeal refusal to hear two applications of 15 February 2017 and 17 February 2020, duly filed and presented to the panel on the hearing day of the substantial appeal but refused to be heard until after a substantial appeal.
- A stay of costs order of 17 May 2024, which was already mandated by the consolidation order of 4 November2015. This order states that all costs are to be consolidated as well.
Double Denials :
Last week, we were unfortunately denied fee waivers for the following:
- 11 July 2024: The Registrar of the Supreme Court refused a fee waiver for filing a petition to set aside UBS’s absurd and abusive Statutory Demand.
- 12 July 2024: The clerk at the Court of Appeal informed us that our request for a special permission for a fee waving was denied by the President of the Court of Appeal, Sir Michael Barnett. We later received an email confirmation from the Registrar Madam Kristine Wallace-Whitfield.
” To no one will we sell, to no one will we deny, or delay right or justice’ – we repeat over and over, from 1215 Carta Magna clausula 40.
Deep Gratitude:
We are immensely grateful to the invaluable friend who made it possible for us to file these documents by covering the fees.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all our friends and supporters who continue to enable our survival.
Our deepest bow and gratitude to Leo Melamed, Emeritus Chairman of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for opening the path of real freedom to all of us through futures trading.
A Look Forward:
Today, 14 July 2024, marks the celebration of Bastille Day on 1789, commemorating the French Revolution. Having grown up in the USSR, the post-revolution pain of 1917 resonates deeply with me. And when I think of 1789, I cannot help but remember the senseless loss of life on this day and the events that followed , including a mother of two and her husband, yes the queen and the king.
While I am an unwavering advocate for justice and equity, I believe that through the power of trading, revolutions may become obsolete. With self-directed trading becoming increasingly prevalent, a future where everyone can determine their own financial success through peaceful means seems attainable. There would be no need for violence, hunger, or despair.
It is all in your hands, or in exactly in your heads – “If your goal is to trade like a professional and be a consistent winner, then you must start from the premise that the solutions are in your mind and not in the market.” – Mark Douglas
However, for now, we are understandably emotionally drained and haven’t reached a state of mind needed for the profitable trading. We find solace in the timeless wisdom of King Solomon’s words, “This too shall pass.”
Your Support Matters:
Please send us positive energy for tomorrow’s hearing and that the judges will hear our arguments.
We kindly ask you to share this post and help us gather more signatures for our petition.
Thank you very much for your attention. We believe that achieving even a small measure of justice will ultimately benefit society as a whole.
With blessings,
Irina
