September 29, 2021-2024: The Fight for Free Speech – How UBS Silenced Public Discussion on Local TV

“Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost.”

– Thomas Jefferson:

September 29, 2024, was a remarkable day for us this year. A few weeks before this event, we discovered through an affidavit filed by UBS’s George Maillis, that on the same date three years earlier, UBS had sent a letter to the local TV station —oddly called Verizon, even registered as such in the Bahamas, despite Verizon US denying any connection. The letter explicitly forbade Senator Rodney Moncur from discussing our case on his show, Freedom March.

This is yet another fine example of freedom of speech and democracy exhibited by one of the world’s largest financial institutions.

Once again, we want to emphasize how much your attention, dear friends and supporters, means to our case. Thank you for reading, and sharing, and please sign our petition if you haven’t done so yet and help us gather more signatures.

With blessings,

Irina
