On the Verge of the Tenth Anniversary – 22 March 2025.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

How wonderful and nice it is to be here on this Earth, in this life, and to send all of you blessings and gratitude from our paradise on Saturday!
Shabbat Shalom!

With all that is happening in the world, with great hope for peace in the Middle East where the dearest part of my living family is, I cannot dry my tears for the children killed. I hope that an agreement of peace and mutual respect can be reached, that the hostages held since October 7, 2023, will be freed, and no more innocent deaths of civilians will be mourned.

Of course, I dream of my Odessa, as all of us were born in Odessa, especially miracle-like Holocaust survivors (out of 600,000 before WWII, we were only two or ten thousand, according to different reports, after WWII), that my Odessa will become a sort of Hong-Kong of Europe. But peace and the end of fratricide are the priority.

And tomorrow, we will mark the tenth anniversary of that unbelievable event, when the lawyer, Marco Turnquest, went to the judge and lied five times. He practicing, not prosecuted, despite our many filings in every conceivable forum, which I will revisit tomorrow.

Today is a day to count gratitude — our new priceless friends, whom we may never meet, and the unbelievable human support and solidarity we have experienced over these years. Thank you all again and again.

I was shy to share as there is not yet good news, and with great hope that the judicial system will work it all out. Once the victory is ours, I will be able to share. But, it seems our adversaries thought differently, and my silence was one of the elements nourishing them to breach every conceivable barrier. So, from tomorrow, I will write, tweet, and do all possible to make all of you and the world aware of this little piece of evil we are fighting, this blink in the eye of the long history of humankind, or even the judiciary in the Bahamas—inheriting over 1,000 years of the British system—and yet these ten years have ruined the early childhood of our six sons, took the life of my mom, and altered the whole blooming of our sons’ talents. All that will make sense once the victory is ours, as it deserves to be.

With blessings, I will close now so as not to be too long.

Irina
