Dear Friends and Supporters,
A very important event took place in the United States Senate on February 2, 2026:
“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” – Martin Luther King Jr
My mother was a Holocaust survivor. We lost Mrs. Shloss this year — Anne Frank’s stepsister.
Above: “Books and the Written Word,” a sculpture by our late friend Boris Zaborov at the Technion in Haifa. Boris, one of the greatest painters and sculptors of our time, gave form to memory, history, and human resilience.
Living in Europe and moving from country to country, we occasionally encountered direct traces of nazi’s presence. Even if this represented only a small fraction of our lives, each encounter was shocking — difficult to comprehend, how people can still choose to follow that path of unseen, cruel evil. Later, living in Lyford Cay, the Bahamas, we learned that former nazis had once found refuge there, while the same financial institutions continued operating quietly in the background.
Immediately after the intense period in our legal battle: six hearings in ten days, five of them in just four days, 21-29 January 2026, before the Supreme Court of the Bahamas, the significance of this moment is impossible to miss.
More than a decade-long legal battle, involving Credit Suisse and later UBS participating in systems linked to terror financing and money laundering, is finally before the U.S. Senate, where the immeasurable crime of stealing, holding, and concealing Holocaust victims’ assets is still hidden and unrevealed.
The Bahamas, our home country for 17 years, was shaped by nazis at a certain period before Independence, and is still working to rid itself of that invasion.
Nevertheless, while outrageously hiding the assets of Holocaust survivors, UBS–Credit Suisse has been running a decade-long Fictitious Trading Scheme. We have deposited proof of this in the courts, and expert estimates indicate that this structure continues to extract close to one trillion dollars per year, all while attempting to legitimize itself within the United States.
We are following the next developments closely and fully support all efforts to prevent this massive fraudulent structure from being normalized.
Still, we believe this: – Good will always prevail.
– We only have to trust — and do our best.
Thank you all again, so very much.
Please share this post and our petition.
Warmly,
Irina

[…] An extraordinary and deeply symbolic moment unfolded while we ourselves were immersed in an unprecedented sequence of court hearings, conducted pro se, under intense pressure — a period I have described in detail here. […]
