Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you again for stopping by and reading our news.
August was a busy month for UBS-Credit Suisse lawyers. On the one hand, they are trying to obtain a date for the taxation in the Court of Appeal for the UBS case, which is pending before the Privy Council and a trial to be scheduled in the Supreme Court. On the other hand, Credit Suisse lawyers had a “math problem” and are also seeking taxation for an amount that exceeds only 285 times what is allowed by the court rules.
Both cases are not yet finished, and taxation is typically the last proceeding, when everything is determined. However, we know that UBS-Credit Suisse lawyers do not respect the court rules. Justice, equity, and judicial economy are extraneous to them. Their goal is to oppress us and drain our resources and oust us from the litigation, so their fraudster clients can continue to walk unpunished.
In the US, our case was unexpectedly dismissed, and we have now refilled it in the S.D.N.Y..
Tomorrow, 6 September, 2023, we will have a hearing in the Supreme Court of the Bahamas on our application for leave to appeal from the 8 May, 2023 ruling, which dismissed our case as time-barred, ignoring that main claim is about property held in trust, where Statute of Limitation is not applied, and that our contract was not a simple contract, consequently for certain of our claims the time-bare is 12 years and not 6, as the Judge erroneously found.
We will keep you updated on the progress of our cases.
Thank you for your continued support, for reading and sharing this post, for signing and sharing our petition.
Sincerely,
Irina
